This year as Viking  celebrates  25 years in business and welcomes 11 new vessels, taking
the fleet to more than 80 state-of-the-art river, ocean and expedition ships.

In January Viking welcomed the first expedition ship Viking Octantis to the fleet –
with a second ship Viking Polaris on the way, both making intrepid voyages of discovery to Antarctica and North America’s Great Lakes. We also welcome two new ocean ships
to fleet of six identical sister ships. Viking Mars will explore our very own backyard of Australia and New Zealand later this year while Viking Neptune will cruise the Mediterranean before embarking on our 2022-2023 World Cruise.

Last week Viking welcomed 8 new Longships, four built specifically to navigate the Seine River bringing guests to the heart of Paris, and four ships to sail our popular itineraries
on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers. Plus, later this year, Viking will welcome three
new custom-built ships to sail the Mekong, the Mississippi and the Nile.
