- Resumption of Australian Cruising is now imminent – Australian ports and South Pacific cruises
- Resumption of New Zealand Cruising – late in second half of 2022 – opening up New Zealand cruises from Sydney.
- The first cruise is scheduled for May 31st from Sydney a 4 night return cruise to Brisbane.
- Cruise lines have been working towards this day for many months and the cruise lines have been operating in their international destinations
for around 8 months without many issues. Finalising details with relevant State health bodies and repositioning ships is high on the agenda.
Resumption protocols include:
- On Board Covid Vaccination requirements for passengers and crew.
- The wearing of masks on board – will it be required?
- On board environmental and air circulation
- Enhanced onboard medical facilities and reporting.
- Enhanced food and drink service including crew serving for buffets

P&0 Australia have announced that the book by dates for some our Future Cruise Credits, Discounts and Deposits has been extended. Any unused amount that was due to expire on 30 March 2022 will now expire on 30 June 2022 and can be applied to any P&O Cruises Australia departure on or before 31 August 2023.
